Telephone-based Decision Support for Rural Patients

Consultation Planning is a method of helping patients prepare for their medical appointments so that they can make informed decisions about their treatments. Sara O’Donnell and Jeff Belkora are now testing the effectiveness of delivering their Consultation Planning service via telephone, which would especially benefit breast cancer patients living in rural areas, or who have challenges in traveling.
